Julia Dunetz is a Tony Award-Winning theatre producer dedicated to producing artistically resonant and financially sustainable commercial theater that can move audiences and create positive social impact.

Named a “2025 Woman to Watch on Broadway” by the Broadway Women’s Fund, Julia’s Broadway Co-Producing credits include: last season's Tony Award-Nominated revival of Romeo + Juliet starring Kit Connor and Rachel Zegler which recouped its full $7M capitalization and boasted the youngest audience in Broadway history, the Tony Award-Nominated musical SUFFS written by and starring Shaina Taub, the Tony Award-Winning revival of PARADE starring Ben Platt and Micaela Diamond which was a two-time New York Times critic's pick, the New York Times critic's pick comedy JUST FOR US by Alex Edelman which is currently available for for streaming on HBO Max, and for which Alex Edelman received a Special Tony Award, and the Tony Award-Nominated play SEA WALL / A LIFE, which was a two-time New York Times critic's pick starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Sturridge and recouped its full $2.8M investment in its 9-week run. Additionally, Julia served as the Associate Producer on the tour of the two-time New York Times critic's pick production of HUNDRED DAYS, following its acclaimed run at New York Theatre Workshop. 

Julia is currently a Producer at Level Forward, the story-driven, impact-minded entertainment company. At Level Forward, she guides the company's theatre undertakings, working with producing partners in film and television. As a Producer at Level Forward, Julia is developing THE QUEEN’S GAMBIT as a musical and works on numerous other projects in development and production, including the recent Broadway productions of HOW TO DANCE IN OHIO and POTUS. Prior to her current role, Julia served as the Associate Producer at Seaview, a theatrical producing company that produces innovative theatre on and off-Broadway. At Seaview, she supported the Broadway production of SLAVE PLAY  amongst many other upcoming productions. Additionally, Julia has worked on roughly thirty Broadway productions through internships at SpotCo, Situation Interactive, Harbor Entertainment, and RCI Theatricals

Julia is a graduate of Cornell University's class of 2019 and was the recipient of Cornell University's Drama Book Award for outstanding achievement in theatre and The Hewitt School's award for Excellence in Performing Arts. Additionally, Julia was selected to be one of TEDxBroadway's 2019 Young Professionals. Julia is a member of the Broadway Women's Alliance and co-taught a mini course on "The Art of Leading" for high school girls with CreateHER. Julia is a Broadway League Associate Member.
